Just now [dunkelbunt] has come out with the first ever official remix of Yali, Yali/ Çayelinden Öteye – a Black Sea love song by Turkish arabesk queen Neşe Karaböcek. Deeply groovy mood, veers off from Karaböcek’s trusted arabesk and Türk Sanat territory, entering the twilight zone of Anatolian psyche. [dunkelbunt] puts his own dazzling spin to this deeply atmospheric track. He compliments the trilling, lyrical vocal style of Karaböcek with jangly mix of instrumental touches and shimmering sound effects, weaving his own ethereal ambience, punctuated  with swingy sax riffs, while tapering off in the end in spacey electronica.
